A pear-shaped alexandrite of 1.95 carats, GIA certified and untreated. Measuring 9.41 x 6.42 x 3.79 mm, this is a stone of genuine scale — clean colour-change alexandrite is uncommon at any size, and increasingly so as it approaches two carats. Green in daylight and red beneath incandescent light, the tapered outline carries the shift along the full length of the stone. Well suited to a pendant or a statement ring.

How do I know a gemstone is natural?
All of our gemstones are handpicked by our GIA accredited gemologist. We are happy to offer a certificate of authenticity for any gemstone purchase from NNJ Designs. We can also send a gemstone to the GIA for certification.
We primarily deal in natural gemstones, but as lab grown gems increase affordability, we offer them on rare occassion. We will always disclose if a gemstone is natural or lab created.
