Morganite is a beautifully feminine and chic gemstone that pairs amazingly with rose or white gold due to its range of pink and peach colors!
Fun fact: Morganite is named after J.P. Morgan due to his financial support of the arts & sciences and his role as a major gem collector in the early 1900s.
Heat treatment is when gemstones are exposed to high temperatures to permanently enhance their color and clarity. Without heat treatment, fine-quality gemstones would be inaccessible to almost anyone. Colored gemstones have undergone treatment for thousands of years. As long as the treatment is permanent, it is widely accepted that enhancements are important for maintaining the popularity of genuine gemstones.
Care for heat: No special care is required for heat-treated gems. Wear with (love and) care. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft bristle toothbrush. Chemicals and abrasive cleaners should be avoided on all fine jewelry.

How do I know a gemstone is natural?
All of our gemstones are handpicked by our GIA accredited gemologist. We are happy to offer a certificate of authenticity for any gemstone purchase from NNJ Designs. We can also send a gemstone to the GIA for certification.
We primarily deal in natural gemstones, but as lab grown gems increase affordability, we offer them on rare occassion. We will always disclose if a gemstone is natural or lab created.
Can one of your designs be cast to fit my center stone?
