*Details of the Treatment*
Diffusion is a technique in which elements like Titanium or Beryllium are used to enhance the color of sapphires that are otherwise light blue in nature. This treatment is permanent and color will remain vibrant through decades of use. Diffusion typically occurs after a gemstone has been faceted into its final shape; it is not recommended to recut diffused gems. Colored gemstones have undergone treatment for thousands of years; it is widely accepted that enhancements are important for maintaining the availability of genuine gemstones.
*Care Instructions*
You can clean all most all of your jewelry safely with warm soapy water (dish soap like Dawn is perfect) and a soft bristle toothbrush! Most gems should be cleaned this way because ultrasonic cleaners can damage them. Exception may include gems like Opal.

How do I get my stone to you for setting?
We can provide you with a complimentary USPS shipping label or a fully-insured UPS second day label for an additional $29. If you prefer to arrange shipping yourself, please reach out to us and we will share our shipping address.
Can one of your designs be cast to fit my center stone?
We can cast any of our designs to perfectly fit the shape and size of your center stone! Please share the dimensions of your gem along with the design that you are interested in and we will work up a quote.
