Heat treatment means that the gem has been exposed to higher temperatures to enhance its color and clarity; this would likely occur naturally given more time. This is a permanent enhancement and is widely accepted as essential to maintaining the availability of genuine gemstones in fine quality.
Care: No special care is required for heat-treated gems. Clean with warm, soapy water and a soft bristle toothbrush. Chemicals and abrasive cleaners should be avoided on all fine jewelry.

How do I get my stone to you for setting?
We can provide you with a complimentary USPS shipping label or a fully-insured UPS second day label for an additional $29. If you prefer to arrange shipping yourself, please reach out to us and we will share our shipping address.
